Areas Under Division Q


Division Q, - 6 Areas
Division Q is reinforced with 6 stong Areas, Area 12, Area 18, Area 51, Area 52, Area 53 and Area 68. Each area is made up of three to four clubs presently, and has a very high potential for growing. Below is a brief on each Area.


Area 12
Introduction: Area 12 comprises of four vibrant clubs. The oldest club in Area 12 is Filcom International Toastmasters Club, chartered in March 2002. This is a community club open to all. It is one of the few clubs in Qatar that has members from more than 10 different nationalities. The next to follow was Ooredoo Toastmasters Club, a corporate club chartered in Feb 2007. Fil-GS Toastmasters Club was chartered in April 2013 for the Philippines community. The youngest of the lot is Stafford Toastmasters Club chartered in Dec 2013.
Achievements: Area-12 was declared as the best area in District 20 for the term 2013-2014.
Future Goals:

Support clubs to achieve their DCP Goals.

Charter a new Club.

Achieve "President's Distinguished Area" status.







Area 18
Introduction: Area 18 comprises of four clubs listed below as follow;

Megchani one Toastmasters,

Tamim Toastmasters( Arabic Speaking Club ).
Achievements:

Qatar Toastmasters achieved the title of "President's Distinguished Club" status.

Indian Club achieved the title of "President's Distinguished Club" status.

Tamim Toastmasters achieved the title of "Distinguished Club" status.
Future Goals:
-
To achieve the title of a "President's Distinguished Area" status.

To make sure all clubs achieve at least the title of "Distinguished Club" status.

To strive hard to make Qatar Toastmasters and Indian Toastmasters achieve the tile of "President's Distinguished Club" status.
Area 52
Introduction: Area 52 comprises of three Clubs; ICC Advanced, KEF, and PICE Qatar Toastmasters. Our vision is to serve the clubs to achieve the title of a "Distinguished Club" status, by living our core values of Integrity, Respect, Service and Excellence.
Achievements: Out of 21 Club Officers 19 attended the Club Officers Training ( COT ) of the year 2014-2015, which reflects the high level of commitment and dedication we have in Area 52.
Future Goals:

Conduct "Open House" for Membership Building.

Focus on Mentoring.

Achieve "President's Distinguished Area" status.
Area 51
Introduction:
Area 51 is a composition of three shining star BC, Excel and PTM Toastmasters clubs. Our strength resides in the proactive clubs and area leadership who are committed to plan, do, act and check strategy to achieve goals in promoting communication and leadership skills as per toastmasters’ international promise.
Area 53
Introduction: Area 53 is a newly formed area under division Q. It comprises of three vibrant clubs; Dukhan Toastmasters club, Qatar Malayalam Toastmasters club, and Pak Shama Toastmasters club.
Achievements: In previous year, Dukhan Toastmasters club has achieved the "President's Distinguished Club" status, and Qatar Malayalam Toastmasters club has achieved the "Distinguished Club" status.
Future Goals:

Support Pak Shama Toastmasters clubs to help them achieve the "Distinguished Club" status.

Support Dukhan Toastmasters club in achieving 10 DCP points.

Support Qatar Malayalam Toastmasters Club to achieve "President's Distinguished Club".

Charter a new club in English and Malayalam.

Charter one Gavels Club in Malayalam language.

Achieve “President's Distinguished Area” status.

Area 68
Introduction:
Area 68 comprises of four vibrant clubs; International Advanced Toastmasters club, Konkan Toastmasters club, Barwa Toastmasters club, and ICC Eves Toastmaters club.
